How to prepare your property for moving?
Well prepared property before moving starts will guarantee that you did your best to save your money and time on moving.
What you could do to prepare your apartment or a house to be moved as quickly as possible? That is right, take part in the process and help with organization. What is important? Truck parking needs to be close to your property to reduce unnecessary time spendings on the long walkways. Get parking spot reserved with the city and you will be glad you did, believe our experience, especially in downtown San Jose and all around San Francisco.
If you have an elevator in your building it is better to be reserved. Otherwise, you could face the situation when your movers are waiting for an elevator each time and if you will put together this waiting time it easily can be an hour of the elevator waiting in total. Sometimes it is not the case, but some buildings are pretty crowded especially in particular business hours. Make sure you talked with the building manager and they reserve time for your move.
One other thing to be aware of is the traffic situations. Traffic bad by itself, but paying for waiting time in traffic is worse. Try to figure out the traffic situation on the way to your new place and find an optimal time to leave your old property to get as little traffic as possible.

Wish it were always this easy.
From start to finish, A2B made our move a breeze. Was first attracted to the great Yelp reviews. Requested a quote from a few movers and Nick from A2B made it quick and simple with a few questions and a quote. WE reserved our date, time, and move size from there.
Fast forward to the night before. We confirmed details. This morning, the crew called about 15 minutes out. Four guys arrive– Dennis, Anton, Dennis (#2), and Gabit– and we are off to the races.
They were fast in getting a 2,000 square foot house, plus a 1/3 full two-car garage, packed up into a long truck. The team used padding, wrap, and tape to keep our furniture clean and unbroken. They masterfully avoided corners…
VS and Kiril were wonderful – friendly, fast, and efficient. They kept us informed of their ETA, let us know of any (minor) damages, and packed everything as safely as possible. Everything was done within 3.5 hours (1 bedroom) despite our new place being on the 5th floor and having to wait for an elevator. We were charged only those 3.5 hours + $40 fuel surcharge. Would definitely consider A2B for our next move!
I’m glad that I had to deal with A2B movers. First time had to deal with a moving company here and I have nothing but great things to say. VS and Kerry kept me informed on their ETA via messages which was great. I had a last second change of plans (had to move stuff in locker rather than the new apartment) and they were totally cool with that, just gave them the new address and it was done. They were fast, careful and extremely helpful. They re wrap some stuff plus wrap the whole sectional and mattress (big and very heavy).

One of the best movers if not the best we’ve had, and we’ve moved a lot (like 5-6 times over the past few years)!
Denys and team were very professional and super on time. They were a team of three and pretty speedy overall in my opinion. About 6 hours for a two bedroom apartment to house which is about right.
When they got to the new house, they went above and beyond and suggested things like getting felt squares to protect the nice hardwood floor from furniture scratches. They even told us that we shouldn’t have laid our new HD TV flat (oops) and helped prop it up for us! They didn’t need to do that so that was super nice of them…

There are different types of customers exists when you think about moving services. Those who don’t want to do anything moving related, want to eliminate moving stress as much as possible and who relies on professional movers entirely. And those who would like to help to the movers and control the process to save some time and money on it. Let’s talk about the second type of moving client on this page.
Prepare all your small items for packing and pack as much as you can by yourself. This will save a significant amount of time, tremendous. But it is the most tedious part of the moving as well, so there is a trade-off. Purchase packing materials such as tape, boxes(medium and small sizes are the best for any move), wrapping paper(cheapest one will be fine) and bubble wrap if you have vases or some fragile glass to be moved.
Packing is an essential part of the moving process. Preparation is everything in any business and packing is the part of the preparation for moving. How do you make packing the right way to prevent damages of your belongings?
Few other things to notice here, stack your box full to make it hard but not to heavy and use tape from both sides to prevent folding from the bottom. Make sure your box is not folded apart.

There is a 3 packing options with A2B movers you can choose:
1 – You can purchase a Full packing kit includes absolutely all of the necessary packing and boxing supplies for your move (best option if you want us to take care of the packing entirely)
2 – On the go packing ($3 – small, $6 – medium, $8 – large box, $23 – packing paper roll, $23 bubble wrap roll) – purchasing of the extra packing and boxing supplies per item (good if you want us to pack only some of your items)
3 – You will provide your packing materials and we will use them to pack and box your belongings.
There are no additional fees or charges of any kind and the tax is already included in the price.
